Claybrooke Mill is a working watermill in Claybrooke Magna, Leicestershire, milling premium organic flours and muesli the traditional way — stoneground, fresh, and full of flavour.
At the heart of England, close to where the Roman roads cross — Watling Street and the Fosse Way — the mill sits on a site believed to have been in use for more than a thousand years. It’s still run today as a small family business, supplying bakers, farm shops and home cooks across the UK.

What we do
We stone-mill a range of organic wheat and speciality flours, flour mixes and muesli. Milling between traditional millstones keeps the whole grain — and all its flavour — intact, and we mill fresh to order so your flour arrives at its best.
- Stoneground on site — milled the slow, traditional way
- Organic — premium grain, nothing added
- Milled fresh to order — posted across the UK, or collect from the mill
A thousand years of milling
There is evidence that the mill site may date back over a thousand years, owing to its proximity to the Roman settlement at High Cross — the Roman centre of England. The mill was lovingly restored over a seven-year period and returned to commercial milling in 1987, and the present owners continue the tradition to this day.
